BAE Systems is looking for people with Electrical Engineering and Systems Engineering backgrounds. We are looking for motivated, positive minded, and challenge seeking engineers with an RF background or and Electrical Engineer who wants to learn RF on Airborne systems. BAE Systems is focused on enhancing operational EW capabilities for a wide variety of engineering tasks.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
This position involves leading integrating and testing large-scale complex electronic warfare systems to include developing test processes, executing tests, data analysis, and anomaly resolution. Performing systems engineering functions such as analyzing signals, trade studies, developing and validating electronic warfare concepts of operation in a laboratory environment.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, or Computer Science and 8 years of work experience.
Hold a current Top-Secret security clearance.
Experience with Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communications
Understanding of communication system operation and employment
Ability to effectively document, communicate and work with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master's degree in a technical field such as Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
Have RF Theory and wireless communications experience.
Understanding of signal processing for signal analysis and waveform generation
Specific skills within the Electronic Attack (EA) domains of Electronic Warfare (EW)
Familiarity with lab test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers)
Windows/Unix/Linux OS/MATLAB
Digital Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML), Model Based Agile Engineering (Value Drive Digital Threads) and Agile Mindset principle, practices & processes, and tools & techniques.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
