Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. The Signals Exploitation Capability Group is a cross-functional multi-disciplinary team providing signal domain expertise and leverage capabilities to the BAE Systems Electronic Systems Sector.
This role within the SECG will assist in identifying and developing candidate algorithms/technologies/concepts supporting various mission domains such as signals intelligence, electronic warfare, and communications. These efforts will require detailed simulations and analysis supported by strong communication skills to fulfill the requirements of ECS programs, IR&D efforts, and pursuits.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
Requirements definition, development, and assessment of algorithms to support ECS missions
Work with Business Area and Product Line Technical Directors to provide recommendations on future IR&D investments.
Collaborate across the enterprise and business partners to identify processing technologies, concepts, and investments to meet ECS missions objectives
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Active Secret Security clearance and ability to obtain Special Access clearances, and Top Secret SCI Level Clearance.
Bachelor s degree and Minimum 12 years of technical leadership experience and mission/domain knowledge of emerging RF capabilities relevant to the business
Prior experience contributing to business development efforts
Prior experience leading development programs with transition to production knowledge
Project engineering management including organizational design, planning, estimating, design management, and product verification
At least 10 years direct experience as a Subject Matter Expert.
Demonstrated experience as a technical leader
Ability to form a vision and implement action plans to achieve that vision
Proven ability to share and transfer technology across organizational boundaries to the benefit of our customers and the business
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Prior experience as a development effort Capture Team Lead
Authoring white papers/RFIs for US Gov't customers
Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
