CAS is currently seeking an Immunologist for our Content Operations team. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Position Summary:
The Immunologist role applies scientific expertise, analytical skills, problem solving capabilities, and relevant language skills to help build CAS's world-class collection of scientific data. They leverage their expertise to curate high-quality research data from patent authorities, journals, technical reports, books, conference proceedings and dissertations published in 180 countries and in more than 50 languages. The incumbent may also provide scientific and content knowledge, capabilities, insights, and solutions for other CAS functions.
Job Accountabilities:
Review and curation of literature discussing immunochemistry and related topics in a production environment.
Work in a cross functional team setting to enhance the CAS Life Sciences data collection.
The candidate will have responsibilities related to the following domains: vaccines, antibodies, T cell receptors and adoptive immunotherapy, particularly CAR-T development, NK-cell therapy, and TILs (tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes) and be expected to keep up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements in the field, including the latest tools, techniques, and best practices to contribute to data curation projects.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Immunology or a closely related field.
10+ years of professional experience in tumor immunology and immunotherapy.
Excellent team player who is organized and willing to adapt to the needs and requirements of an agile organization.
Demonstrate a proactive and flexible attitude, with a keen willingness to show initiative.
Project management or team leadership experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective organizational skills, including attention to detail, time management, and ability to multi-task
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Competency with MS Office including Excel, Teams, and Word. Familiarity with video conferencing, instant messaging, email, calendar scheduling, word processing, spreadsheets, and document-sharing software
Demonstrated skill in handling multiple tasks with varying urgencies and priorities
Ability to solve complex problems within and outside of the primary group
Familiarity with data modeling a plus
Ability to read and write in Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, German, or a Romance language is a plus
