This position is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH and will serve as an F-35 Lightning Sustainment Operations Center Shift Leader reporting to the F-35 Operations Center Manager. The successful candidate will lead a diverse team to provide primary, first-line support for all F-35 Operations Center customers and sites. Successful candidate will function as conduit between internal and external customers and F-35 Sustainment organizations including Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Sustainment Performance Management, Field Operations, Support Equipment, Training, and others as needed.
Other responsibilities include:
Briefings and tours to internal and external customers regarding the activities of the fleet through F-35 Operations Center will be provided as needed.
Will play a key role in keeping the F-35 Operations Center processes current and for proposing and implementing new processes and best practices as the F-35 Operations Center matures.
The F-35 Ops Center is a 24/7/365 operation, and the candidate may be required to work different shifts and days as needed. Shifts will include first, second, and third. Work days will include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Must be a United States citizen. Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Experience leading, coaching and developing team-members
Experience communicating across levels of an organization, functions and teams
5 years fighter aircraft experience
Experience in the use of MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Customer Support experience.
Desired Skills:

Experience in a fast paced, dynamic, Operations Center or Headquarters type of environment.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college
Experience with Earned Value Management System
Project Management or Sharepoint
Must be able to obtain F-35 Program access
2+ years of F-35 aircraft experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in the recruitment &/or development of talent to strengthen the organization.
Experience at multiple levels of maintenance, logistics, and support of 5th generation fighter aircraft.
Fluent in any of the following languages: Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, or others.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
