Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to manage all contract activities for a major PMCM project.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Effective management and Administration of multiple contracts.
- identification and management of potential claims.
- Payment process, including progress payments, milestones, and invoicing.
- Claims management.
- Change management.
- Purchasing, including monitoring of long lead items.
- Assist with all dispute resolution matters.
- Provide regular reports.
- Manage the negotiation and agreement of final accounts.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Registered for relevant discipline in Qatar MMUP Engineering Committee.
- 15+ years overall post graduate experience with 6 years prime contracts management
- PMCM Experience preferably in the GCC.
- Ability to lead a team of contract engineers and administrators.
- Working knowledge of FIDIC and other international standards, pre- and post award contract administration.
- Extensive experience with contract administration, negotiation, high value claims, dispute resolution, arbitration.
- Ability to work as part of specialist team, work with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to perform management capacity.
- Working knowledge of software typically associated with contract administration.
- Experience of administering multiple contracts at any one time.
- Interpreting contracts and dealing with variations, conflicts, claims, disputes, and other contractual issues.
