Our client in Spokane, WA is currently hiring for a Financial Analyst. This position is a fully onsite opportunity supporting a growing manufacturing and operations-focused finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial reporting, accounting fundamentals, data analysis, and advanced Excel functions.
Pay - $54,080 - $68,640/year (Depending on experience, education, technical skills, and relevant experience)
Location - Spokane, WA (100% Onsite)
Schedule - Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Maintain current pricing and quote information within company systems
Compare quoted pricing and gross margins against actual financial results
Prepare and analyze reports related to gross margin, inventory, accounts receivable, and other key financial metrics
Partner with Program Management, Procurement, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to resolve pricing and cost variances
Analyze product costs, supplier pricing variances, manufacturing overhead, and work-order reporting
Assist with customer quotations, pricing updates, and transfer-pricing accuracy
Perform general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities
Create standard and ad hoc financial reports to support operational and business decisions
Utilize Excel and data analysis tools to identify trends and communicate actionable insights
Support factory planning initiatives, operational efficiencies, and continuous process improvement efforts
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or a related field
Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation, and report creation
Experience performing financial analysis and financial reporting
Basic understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements
Experience identifying discrepancies, analyzing data, and communicating findings
Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with SQL or querying data is preferred
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple business units
Disqualifiers
Lack of Excel reporting experience, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
No understanding of financial reporting or accounting fundamentals
No experience analyzing financial or operational data
Unable to work onsite in Spokane, WA

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $68640.00/yr.
