Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Payable Specialist where you'll play a crucial role in managing invoice processes and ensuring financial accuracy. You will work closely with internal partners to resolve invoice issues and will be responsible for maintaining precise records in our ERP system.
Responsibilities
Review and approve invoices and perform electronic check matching.
Enter accounts payable entries into the ERP system, documenting and correcting any errors.
Communicate with internal partners regarding invoice issues and resolve them efficiently.
Ensure all incoming documentation meets company requirements.
Perform minor accounting functions as needed.
Provide coverage and support for team members as necessary.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable or accounting.
Proficiency in invoice processing and handling 1400-1700 invoices monthly.
Experience with 10-key data entry.
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify duplicates and prevent double payments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates Degree or higher preferred.
Experience with JDE or similar ERP systems is preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Basic Excel skills are required.
High School Diploma is required.
Work Environment
The position is on-site from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. You'll be part of a close-knit team of six, working in an open office environment with open-ended cubicles. The office can be noisy due to phone communications. Training will occur on-site with the Accounts Payable Manager and Senior Analyst, which may take up to a week. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
