The Senior Campaign Analyst is responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing customer engagement strategies through marketing automation, audience management, and campaign orchestration platforms. This role combines deep expertise in campaign management, customer journey design, and marketing analytics with the ability to translate business objectives into scalable, data-driven customer engagement solutions.
The ideal candidate has experience working with customer engagement and marketing automation platforms, supporting both traditional campaign execution and modern "always-on" customer engagement strategies. This individual partners closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and technology teams to deliver targeted, personalized, and contextually relevant customer communications across multiple channels.
In addition to campaign execution responsibilities, the Senior Campaign Analyst serves as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, helping identify opportunities to improve customer experiences, optimize marketing effectiveness, and enhance operational processes through customer-centric engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and optimize targeted marketing campaigns supporting customer acquisition, engagement, retention, reactivation, and cross-sell objectives.
Create and manage customer audience segmentation, targeting strategies, campaign workflows, decision logic, and automated customer journeys using behavioral, transactional, and customer data.
Support the development and execution of both traditional campaign initiatives and "always-on" customer engagement programs designed to deliver real-time, contextually relevant customer experiences.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, refine, and prioritize customer engagement requirements and marketing solutions.
Translate business objectives into scalable campaign, personalization, and customer journey strategies across multiple communication channels.
Configure and manage campaigns within SAS Marketing Automation, SAS Customer Intelligence 360, and other customer engagement platforms as required.
Analyze campaign performance, customer engagement metrics, and operational effectiveness to identify optimization opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
Design and execute test-and-learn strategies, including A/B testing, segmentation analysis, and performance measurement initiatives.
Partner with analytics, technology, operations, and business teams to ensure successful campaign implementation and execution.
Support quality assurance, campaign validation, deployment, and post-launch monitoring activities.
Document campaign designs, business requirements, operational processes, and solution specifications in accordance with established governance standards.
Promote best practices related to campaign management, customer journey orchestration, audience targeting, personalization, and marketing operations.
Identify potential risks, dependencies, and operational challenges while developing mitigation strategies.
Stay current on customer engagement technologies, personalization capabilities, marketing automation trends, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
7+ years of experience supporting marketing campaign management, customer engagement, CRM, or marketing automation initiatives.
7+ years of experience with marketing campaign management solutions and customer engagement platforms.
Experience designing and executing audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, customer journey orchestration, and customer communication strategies.
Experience gathering business requirements, documenting solutions, and supporting campaign implementation efforts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data into actionable business insights.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced client and business environment.
