About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support dynamic manufacturing and Quality Control operations within a fast-paced, startup-like environment. This role will play a critical part in reviewing and approving procurement requests, developing financial forecasts, supporting monthly reporting and variance analysis, and partnering closely with cross-functional business teams operating complex manufacturing programs.
The ideal candidate is strategic, highly analytical, and comfortable influencing business decisions through data-driven insights. You will serve as a trusted finance partner to business leaders and management, helping guide investment decisions and long-range planning.
Key Responsibilities
Build strong business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide investment guidance during shifting or unexpected business conditions
Review and approve purchase orders (POs) and procurement requests
Prepare financial forecasts, monthly reporting packages, and variance analyses
Present concise financial summaries and business insights to leadership
Develop and support long-range financial and business planning initiatives
Create and maintain financial models to evaluate new business concepts and assess financial impact
Build, enhance, and analyze P&L models for new and existing operations
Develop KPI dashboards and deliver ad hoc financial analyses
Work with large data sets, transforming complex data into meaningful insights
Lead automation and process-improvement efforts to scale and simplify financial workflows
Proactively identify and resolve financial reporting or process gaps
Participate in broader finance initiatives, including process improvements and periodic reporting
Must-Have Qualifications
4+ years of professional finance or financial analysis experience
Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling and analysis
Experience preparing variance analysis
Purchase order (PO) review and approval experience
Solid understanding of basic financial analysis principles
Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills
Experience with financial planning or reporting tools such as:
Hyperion
Essbase
IBM Cognos / TM1
Experience working with large or complex data sets
Exposure to automation or business intelligence tools is a plus

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
