Description We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the financial performance and reporting needs of our homecare operations in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is well suited for a finance specialist who enjoys turning complex data into clear business insight and partnering with accounting to strengthen reporting accuracy. The successful candidate will contribute to monthly close activities, recurring performance analysis, and leadership reporting that helps guide operational and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly close support process for assigned homecare entities, helping ensure financial results are completed accurately and on schedule.
Analyze profit and loss results in detail and work closely with accounting partners to identify discrepancies, validate data, and improve reporting quality.
Produce recurring budget-versus-actual reporting on a weekly basis and highlight meaningful variances, trends, and performance drivers.
Calculate quarterly incentive compensation using financial and operational data, ensuring timely and reliable results.
Develop and distribute monthly financial reporting packages for all entities, presenting key metrics and business insights in a clear format.
Perform ad hoc financial reviews at the brand level, including areas such as operating expenses, staffing patterns, and retention-related metrics.
Use spreadsheet-based modeling and data analysis techniques to support forecasting, decision-making, and special projects as business needs evolve. Requirements
2+ Years of Public Accounting experience.
Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, with the ability to interpret results and provide actionable recommendations.
Strong capability in financial analysis, variance review, and ad hoc reporting within a multi-entity or operationally complex environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including building models, working with large data sets, and creating effective reporting tools.
Familiarity with audit practices or prior financial audit experience is preferred.
Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and uphold financial accuracy.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance and accounting teams.
