Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will help implement Choctaw Nation's environmental programs for all tribal facilities and fee and trust lands. You will report to the Environmental Compliance Officer.
Primary Tasks:
You will collect data on sample collections, inspections, and walk throughs to assist with the compliance of federal, state, local, and tribal regulations and provide information to senior coordinators for reporting purposes.
You will assist senior coordinators by gathering information at sites where environmental related issues have been reported and relaying important information to Senior Coordinators.
You will follow Choctaw Nation environmental policies.
You will implement environmental policies and best management practices.
You will maintain good documentation of all job-related activities.
You will help complete grant tasks and compiling quarterly progress reports to EPA Project Officer. Complete status and progress reporting documents per program goals. Help maintain budget spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
You will work on posts for social media as well as creating videos for training related to codes, policies, procedures, and outreach.
You will develop and deliver trainings via Hoshonti, In-Person, and any other media identified for CNO and EPS staff as well as external persons as required.
Other tasks as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree in a science related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Work independently or in a group and manage priorities with guidance and input from manager.
