What will you be doing?
In your role as an AIOps Technical Solutions Architect, you will serve as the key conduit between our business development and engineering and architecture teams. You will work with our customers and our account teams to help identify, define, and scope the advanced solutions that enable our biggest and most advanced customers to realize the full potential of AIOps.
Responsibilities:
Deliver robust Observability and AIOps solutions that provide actionable insights, reduce operational complexity, and enhance system reliability
Provide thought leadership to leverage advanced AI technologies, unified monitoring frameworks, and proactive automation to ensure seamless system performance, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement
Regularly consult with customer IT groups around development, provisioning, operations, delivery, and retirement of solutions to maintain an intimate knowledge of customer needs and challenges
Provides technical / architectural and business value consulting to account teams needing assistance in "must win" situations. Identifies and leads competitive win strategies
Creates, leads, and participates in special interest group forums (Virtual Teams, etc.) and customer and industry vertical forums, including industry trade organizations
Technical mastery across a single domain and the ability to deliver its value prop to any level
Technical ownership of Platform Labs and content
Deliver AIOps Demos in our ATC Lab
Ability to break down a technical topic and connect it to business outcomes
Ability to lead consultative AIOps Workshops for key customer stakeholders
Perceived as a thought leader and trusted to mentor others
Mastery of technical solutions and associated business message

Qualifications::
Bachelor's or equivalent level degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant experience
Deep subject matter expertise within multiple technology domains (e.g.,?Observability, Data & Streaming Pipelines, Scripting/Coding, Networking, Systems Admin, Hybrid Cloud Management)
10+ years progressive experience as a Technical Consultant, Technical Specialist, System Engineer, Data Analyst, or comparable position performing the duties outlined above
Passion for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities
Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), especially in presenting to an executive audience
Experience developing original content (PowerPoint and blog articles)
Solid understanding of business processes related to data analytics, artificial intelligence, and how technology can enhance and improve those processes
Ability to work independently and in a team environment to produce outstanding results
Superior organizational, conflict resolution and time management skills
Strong business and sales acumen
Self-Motivated to maintain up-to-date knowledge of innovative technologies
Specific Technology Skills:
In depth knowledge of modern observability platforms including, APM, Log Management, Infrastructure & Network, Digital Employee & Customer Experience, User Journeys, Service Mapping, Dashboarding, and open-source technologies like:
OpenTelemetry (OTEL Collectors), Kafka, NiFi
Practical experience with GenAI and Agentic AI, plus understanding use-cases
Comprehensive understanding of Event Correlation Platforms, value, and use-cases
Experience building Reference Architectures using tools such as LucidCharts
Working knowledge of several leading industry observability solutions:
Cisco - Splunk Observability Cloud, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes

ServiceNow ITSM, CMBD, ITOM

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
