Our client, a leading organization in the cybersecurity industry, is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to join their team. As a Senior SOC Analyst, you will be part of the Security Operations Center supporting incident response, threat analysis, and security monitoring. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job
Provide shift leadership and operational support within the SOC environment.
Mentor and oversee junior analysts, guiding intrusion event investigations.
Monitor security events across various SIEMs and security feeds, including email, phone, and chat systems.
Analyze threat events, review escalations, and ensure incident reports are accurate and complete.
Develop, review, and improve security incident response procedures and playbooks.
What's Needed
5-6 years of hands-on experience working in a SOC or related cybersecurity field.
Experience with Azure environment investigations and ensuring compliance with best practices.
Proficiency with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools and SIEM/log management systems.
Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, and routing protocols.
Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, GIAC, GCIH, GNFA, or GDAT are preferred but not mandatory.
