How does this role contribute to our collective success
The Senior IT Business Analyst plays a key role within a Scrum Team, partnering with Product Owners, Developers, and QA to deliver high-value solutions through iterative development. This role ensures alignment between business needs and technical implementation, driving continuous improvement and delivering business value.
What will you do in this role
Collaborate with Product Owners to define and prioritize the Product Backlog
Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Participate in Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Facilitate backlog grooming/refinement sessions
Liaise between business stakeholders and the Scrum Team to ensure shared understanding of requirements
Support QA and UAT activities to ensure test coverage and business validation
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and process enhancements
Assist with release readiness, training, and stakeholder communication
Lead small Agile initiatives or features from concept to delivery

About You:

What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a Scrum environment
Strong understanding of Scrum roles, artifacts, and ceremonies
Experience writing user stories and managing Agile backlogs
Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Rally
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional Scrum Teams
What we prefer you to have:
Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance or Reinsurance
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SharePoint
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications
Experience in Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $95,000 to $115,000 (GA). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance. On top of this, you will be eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes medical plans for you and your family, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and much more.
