We are seeking a part-time MRI tech to join our team in Bronx, NY. In this role you will be working within an incredible facility that is night shift -hours are 11:30 pm-7 am and rotating weekends.
Primary Duties:
Under the direction of radiologist, performs MRI Procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Performs MRI examinations for diagnostic purposes and labels and displays photographic images.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis.
Maintains records, images, and the cleanliness of assigned area
Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Requirements
One year of experience minimum
High School Diploma, associate's degree is preferred
Must be prepared for Board within 6 months if does not MR registered
Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiology technology, MRI training and meets the requirement for certification by the ARRT
IV certificate Injection registered
Benefits/Compensation:
$53/hr- range
Part time union benefits, other perks.
Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
