As a Precision Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly and test of mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or optical subassemblies and instruments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble electro-opto-mechanical assemblies with precision tools and fixturing.
Integrate the electro-opto-mechanical components and assemblies to perform the final system qualification.
Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
Follow prescribed work and safety rules.
Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
Must be familiar with mechanical measuring equipment, meters, oscilloscopes, and other related test equipment.
Applicants must be capable of interpreting spatial relationships of assemblies using detailed drawings and be able to work with procedures, parts lists, schematics, diagrams written and verbal instructions.
Working knowledge of analog and digital electronics, electrical schematics, measuring instruments, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting techniques are required.
