Route Planner (Temporary)
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (60-90 Days)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm CST
Location: Coppell, TX
Pay : $36/hr.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Route Planner to oversee and optimize delivery routes for our messengers nationwide. This role involves planning up to 1,500 routes per week, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with service contracts. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, route analysis, and supply chain optimization. This position reports to the Planning & Scheduling Leader and requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and optimize up to 1,500 delivery routes weekly for operational efficiency.
Identify route optimization protocols and address process inefficiencies.
Drive continuous improvement in regional logistics through data analysis and collaboration.
Define KPIs and develop dashboards to track performance.
Ensure data accuracy by correcting customer information (e.g., service windows, locations).
Establish and maintain weekly route planning dashboards.
Work closely with market employees and schedulers to enhance route efficiency.
Leverage technology, process redesign, and equipment updates to improve cost, quality, and efficiency.
Maintain high ethical standards, delivering reliable programs and services that meet customer expectations.
Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:

Pay Details: $36.00 per hour
