Job Title: Fleet Supervisor
Location: Arlington, TX
Salary: $70,000 per year
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 3rd SHIFT (11pm to 7:30am)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Fleet Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and management of all motorized equipment, including forklifts, golf carts, and other powered machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in equipment or vehicle maintenance and at least three years of supervisory or management experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all motorized equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
Supervise and lead a team of mechanics and technicians, providing training and guidance as needed.
Manage inventory and procurement of necessary parts, tools, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Monitor and manage maintenance costs, working to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure fleet readiness aligns with operational needs.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in fleet maintenance, mechanical operations, or a related field.
Strong mechanical knowledge of forklifts, golf carts, and other motorized equipment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in maintenance management software or systems is a plus.
