Summer Internship- Geotechnology team
Eurasia Group, a leading firm in geopolitical analysis and consulting, is seeking summer interns to join the Geo-Technology Practice. Our mission is defined by our ability to guide technology firms and tech multinationals through the intersection of geopolitics and technology.
The Geo-Technology Practice is looking for dynamic and analytical interns who are passionate about understanding and forecasting the challenges and opportunities that evolving geopolitical landscapes present to the technology sector. Our work involves in-depth research and strategic analysis focused on areas pivotal to the tech industry, such as digital governance, data privacy regulations, cyber threats, and international technology policy developments.
This internship offers a unique chance to delve into the field of geopolitical analysis, hone relevant skills, and establish connections with Eurasia Group experts who offer insights into various global issues, territories, and sectors. We welcome applications from students currently enrolled at academic institutions.

Internship Responsibilities:
Investigating and synthesizing technological policy developments and geopolitical events relevant to tech multinationals.
Interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights tailored for clients in the tech sector.
Playing an active role in the planning and implementation of customized projects that pinpoint risks and unearth opportunities for tech clients.
Qualifications Required:
Experience or proven interest in technology-related research, such as technology policy, innovation trends, cybersecurity, or technology governance.
Educational foundation in international relations, political science, economics, technology studies, and/or business is desirable.
Proficiency in conducting research using primary sources and well-established methodologies.
Exceptional writing skills, organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
An intellectual drive, creative approach, and an inclination towards a collaborative work environment.
Consulting experience or an understanding of consulting projects will be considered a bonus.
A knack for visual data representation and familiarity with statistical tools is advantageous.
Fluent in English, with additional language skills being beneficial.
Prior involvement with technology sectors or management consulting would be preferable.
You must be returning to an academic program in Fall 2025 to qualify
Must be authorized to work in US.
Internship Duration:
June 2 to August 1, 40 hours a week (in order to be qualified, you must be available all 9 weeks of the program)
Location:
Washington DC office-- this is a hybrid role, you must be able to work in the office 3 days a week (no remote positions)
Compensation:
This role pays $18 an hour
