Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Controller to join our team!
What You’ll Be Doing
Under general supervision performs a variety of document control functions for a project or department.
Examining, indexing and classifying the existing hardcopies documentation available in the Records Centre to prepare Records Inventory.
Checking the documentation against the Client “Record Criteria” and then recommending their eligibility to be considered as “Records”.
Arranging box files for filing eligible “Records”, including Labels.
Segregating the documents that need shredding (destruction) as they are considered non-records/ duplication
Establish and maintain an effective filing, archiving, and retrieving system for all submitted documents hardcopies & softcopies in accordance with the project procedures.
Performs other duties commensurate with functional level and responsibilities.
Contributes as a team player who is deadline driven and works well with others.
Will have knowledge of both the work processes of document control and also the use of electronic systems used to manage documentation.
What Required Skills You Will Bring
Bachelor degree in any discipline
Minimum 7 years experience in administrative and document control functions
MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
Experience working with ACONEX
Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
