Job Title: Deburrer (with Potential to Advance to Press Operator)

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Deburrer to join our production team, working under the Lead Gasket Manufacturing Supervisor. The primary responsibility is to deburr thin-gauge metal parts using various tools, such as small belt sanders, finishing balls on a deburr wheel, vibratory machines, and handheld deburring tools. This role requires excellent eye-hand coordination and the ability to focus while sitting for extended periods.
There is potential to advance to other roles, such as operating hydraulic mechanical presses, spot welders, fly presses, or mechanical power presses, as well as performing tasks like ink stamping or bagging parts.
Key Responsibilities
Deburr metal parts accurately and efficiently using a variety of tools and techniques.
Perform tasks such as ink stamping, bagging parts, and operating production equipment as needed.
Read and follow travelers/work orders to accurately punch in and out of jobs.
Maintain high attention to detail to ensure quality and accurate quantities.
Work independently without direct supervision.
Meet production deadlines while adhering to quality standards.
Qualifications
Knowledge of the aerospace industry is helpful but not required.
Willingness to learn new skills and perform additional tasks with proper training.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Reliable transportation and good attendance are essential.
Must be able to read and write English fluently.
U.S. citizenship is required (per aerospace policies).
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Skills
Excellent eye-hand coordination.
Ability to remain focused and productive for long periods.
Proficiency in deburring with accuracy and speed.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Compensation
Pay: Starting at $18/hour (DOE).
Work Schedule
Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM-3:30 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM-10:00 AM (subject to workload adjustments).
Breaks and lunch periods are provided.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
