Pathologist Assistant
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Role Description
The successful candidate will join a premier healthcare facility performing essential pathology services including:
Organ and brain removal procedures
Tissue collection and processing
Autopsy assistance
Research sample collection and special studies
Tissue sample preparation and sectioning
Staining procedures
Supporting Pathologist requests
Required Qualifications
ASCP Pathologist Assistant Certification
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Pathologists' Assistant program
Demonstrated experience in histology and immunopathology procedures
Prior experience assisting with autopsies
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $112,500 - $150,000
