Job Title: Staging Operator
Position Description:
The Staging Operator will be responsible for coordinating and preparing materials and components for production while ensuring they are properly organized and ready for use. Our Client is looking for a hard worker who has strong organizational skills, pays close attention to detail, and works effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: 1st shift (6:30 am - 2:30 pm) or delayed 1st shift (i.e. 8:00 am-4:30 pm) available
Pay $20 for first shift/ $21 for second shift
Responsibilities:
Follow 3D model to install final parts (i.e. cover panels, labels, etc.) on power cabinets
Use standard hand tools (i.e. drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.) to complete tasks assigned
Sort and stage material to be used at final packaging station
Assemble wood pallets as required
Verify the accuracy of the materials and components received by comparing them to the specifications provided
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to appropriate personnel
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean and organized staging area
Assists in other tasks related to material handling and inventory control as needed
Qualifications:
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of standard hand tools (i.e. drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.)
Basic computer skills (i.e. web browser, email)
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and types of materials/components
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and ability to accurately verify and label materials
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Reliable attendance
Respectful of others, positive attitude
Preferred:
Previous experience in staging, material handling, or warehouse operations
Communication skills
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Ability to stand for an extended period of time
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
