Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
As a CMM Lead , your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and mentoring a team of CMM Inspectors to maintain high standards and efficiency.
Developing and executing strategies to achieve departmental goals and implement continuous improvement processes.
Monitoring progress toward departmental objectives and making adjustments to improve performance.
Inspecting complex mechanical parts and fixtures, ensuring all quality assurance requirements are met.
Documenting inspection results and identifying any issues with part quality, providing solutions.
Designing and modifying inspection setups to meet dimensional requirements.
Reviewing and interpreting complex technical drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
Ensuring the use of proper techniques to maintain high-quality standards in all inspections.
Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing inspection (formal apprenticeship or related trade training is a plus)
Proficiency in PC-DMIS , CAD tools , GD&T , and general CMM programs
Experience with CMMs and various handheld inspection devices
Strong ability to interpret technical documentation, such as drawings and manufacturing process sheets
Highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn and develop new skills
Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a collaborative team
Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to meet production demands
Education Requirements :
High school diploma or vocational school graduate
Hours :
First Shift : 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Thursday
Overtime may be required on Fridays, depending on production needs
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
