We have an outstanding Contract position for aFull Stack Developer / Senior Software Engineer. This position is 100% remote.
Compensation: 175k
Pay Rate: $48.07 - $81.73
Candidate must possess an active DHS USCIS Public trust .
Job Responsibilities:
Participate as a developer on an agile development team, delivering high-quality mission-critical applications using modern application frameworks, cloud services, and DevSecOps pipelines.
Participate in discussions with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users .
Deliver high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
Participate in full scrum lifecycle processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demonstration of functionality at sprint reviews.
Understanding system requirements and translating those requirements into functional and reusable components.
Develop front-end web applications using Angular.
Support the development of back-end applications in Java.
Maintained source code using GitLab and assisted with teams' DevSecOps processes to deploy in multiple environments, working with external platform engineering and cloud teams.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or IT systems or industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, CISSP-ISSAP) or level of experience commensurate with the rigors of the degree.
7+ years of experience consistent with the requirements of the position.
Experience with Angular, Java, Spring Boot.
Experience with AWS and Kubernetes design and implementation is preferred.
Experience with Jenkins, Docker, and DevOps processes/tools is preferred.
Experience with OAuth/OIDC processes and tools such as Okta is preferred.
Experience with agile development (scrum) and use of Jira.
Experience with ICAM, PKI, Authentication, or similar technologies is preferred but not required.
