We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist in the Greater Hartford area.. In this role you will collaborate with the Regional HR Manager to develop and execute strategic HR plans that align with manufacturing and will oversee talent management, compliance, employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, and HR reporting for the site.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Drive talent acquisition, talent development, talent engagement, and talent retention in alignment with business strategy. Support talent acquisition processes, recruitment activities, and conduct new employee orientations.
Administer HR policies, procedures, and standards to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Communicate with employees and respond to inquiries regarding company policies and procedures.
Facilitate counseling and problem resolution with employees and supervision.
Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment process and handle ongoing benefits administration.
Compensation programs administration, including annual performance reviews, merit planning, and drafting job postings.
HRIS and HR self-audits
Maintain applicant tracking system
AAP reporting
Community relations and employee relations events and initiatives.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources
Experience in a Manufacturing organization preferred
BS or BA in Human Resources or related field is required
PHR or SPHR certification is desirable.
Salary Range :
$80,000-100,000 per year commensurate with experience
