Job Description:
- Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements for non-contractual over and above efforts.
- Works from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure repairs are completed according to technical specification and job guides.
- Coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers.
- Ensures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements for discrepancy items not covered on the contract.
- Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions on over and above contract line items.
Essential Functions:
- Experience in the evaluation of repair requirements for Over and Above activities as well as activities associated with contractual scope growth for aircraft maintenance projects through the interpretation of program Statements of Work,engineering drawings, technical manuals, directives, and other specifications.
- Experienced professional with strong knowledge in the job areas of the planning of aircraft maintenance and modification projects through interpretation of program statements of work, engineering drawings, technical manuals, directives, and other specifications.
- Extensive experience in SAP and Solumina systems required.
- Must have experience with the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have extensive experience in SAP and Solumina.
- Must have familiarity with TO's, service manuals, and related publications.
- Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required
Qualifications:
- Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
- Business or Technical Bachelor degree + 6 years relevant experience. Relevant experience: prior commercial, or military engineering, installation, modification or maintenance aerospace experience, in a hands on labor capacity or in a production support function (i.e. engineering, supply chain, quality, planning).
- With a Business or Technical Assoc degree, must have a total of 8 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience: prior commercial, or military engineering, installation, modification or maintenance aerospace experience, in a hands on labor capacity or in a production support function (i.e. engineering, supply chain, quality, planning).
- With H/S or GED, must have a total of 12 years relevant experience. Relevant experience: prior commercial, or military engineering, installation, modification or maintenance aerospace experience, in a hands on labor capacity or in a production support function (i.e. engineering, supply chain, quality, planning).
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to participate in discussions with customers both internal and external regarding process and repair requirements and corrective actions for items not included in the statement of work.
- Management of customer provided budget to include renegotiation overruns to over and above activities.
- A&P license
