Information Security Technician, Senior
Our work depends on an Information Security Technician, SR to serve in support of defense analytical and administrative requirements for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC).
HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY TECHNICIAN, SR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Brief and train proper command security practices for the Command Security Indoctrination briefings to promote Security, Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA).
Update local security publications as required, consistent with DoD/DIA guidance.
Provide input into CCMD history reports and maintain the SSO webpage.
Inspect and draft written feedback in support of the Command Inspection Program.
Coordinate, track, document, brief, train, and issue courier authorization.
Coordinate with customers and Defense Courier Service staff for the delivery/pickup of classified material and provide SME guidance for forward deployed units.
Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities that affect remedial training in support of the Security Incident Program.
Coordinate and support the command Annual/Hurricane Clean Out Program, the Wearable Fitness Device (WFD) Program, the Random Anti-terrorism Measures (RAM) Program, and other security related programs for the CCMD J2 JIOC.
Support the Information Security Working Group and Tasker Management Program.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with favorable poly.
US Citizenship Required
Desired Education and Experience: Master's degree with 12 yrs related experience or Bachelor's degree with a total of 17 yrs experience as a substitute to the Master's degree. At least a portion of your experience must be in the last 2 yrs.
Required: Strong knowledge of security principles, procedures, and technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred: DoD, intelligence, IT, IC, CCMD and / or USCENTCOM experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $105,400 - $142,600. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
