IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity. ITC will provide the Government with program management and services related to emerging technology solutions, including Enterprise Architecture (EA) and data science, application development and management support, training, and enterprise ecosystem support.
Responsibilities:
Provisioning and networking in Hybrid Cloud Computing Environments (AWS, Azure, and on-prem)
Designing, developing, and maintaining systems that meet the needs and goals of the organization
Managing and solving incident tickets for all systems in scope
Assessing, troubleshooting, and solving problems that arise in systems
Installing, configuring, testing, and monitoring systems and infrastructure
Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and performance
Managing and overseeing projects and teams of IT professionals
Ensuring security practices, controls, and audits are conducted routinely and efficiently
Developing systems of quality in measurable ways while providing proof of quality
Location: On-site in Tampa, FL
Requirements
Senior level: 3-10 years of experience and a BA/BS degree.
Substitutions for education:
Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of work experience may be substituted for a master's degree
12 years of work experience may be substituted for a master's degree
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field (Computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience)
Understand the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
Have proficiency in relevant engineering tools and methodologies, such as model-based systems engineering (MBSE), systems modeling tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw), and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
Analyze and document functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
Perform system design, architecture development, and integration for complex systems.
Understand configuration management practices and tools to manage system changes effectively.
Participate in system testing, validation, and verification processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
Work with multidisciplinary teams, including software, hardware, and operational staff, to develop integrated solutions.
Create detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, design documents, and test plans.
Understand and apply industry standards relevant to the project, such as ISO, IEEE, or MIL-STD.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn emerging technologies and apply them effectively.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and risk management activities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DoD and Policy and NIST frameworks for security.
Networking fundamentals within cloud (AWS, Azure) environments
Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies for deploying and managing APIs in scalable, secure, and agile environments.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work with teams but is self-motivated to complete projects independently.
Ability to work entirely on-site with minimal accommodation

Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance.
