Adecco is hiring an AR/Collections Specialist for LOCAL CLIENT in the Melboune, Fl area.
Position Summary:
To lend support to the finance team in areas of collections, and special projects.
Essential Functions:

Collect insurance data from patients and physician practices for insurance claim submission.
Enter pertinent data into Finance system for purpose of generating insurance claims
Locate and make use of insurance websites for purpose of settling unresolved insurance claims
Process insurance appeals based on low pays and/or denials
Perform all phases of insurance follow-up for the purpose of obtaining insurance payment.
Multi-task with the ability to prioritize time sensitive accounts.
Strong phone skills to include incoming/outgoing calls from patients, insurance companies, and customers with regard to patient accounts.
Knowledge of CPT & diagnosis codes, LCD/ NCD and payer medical policy guidelines
Ability to review and research denial reasons for corrective measures.
Retrieve and re-file documents for audits or Insurance request.
Research incorrect patient addresses and update as needed.
Compile information & spreadsheets for attorney follow-up
Performs all other duties as assigned

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of 3 years healthcare collection experience; insurance payers, patients and customer.
Excellent customer service skills, proficient in database and data entry, excellent organizational skills, general office equipment skills
HS Diploma; college preferred
Fluent English, both written and spoken. Second language a plus. Excellent writing skills
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point (Access exp.+), Teams, Sharepoint
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Aptitude for learning new software programs and concepts, team player
Flexibility to accept redirection for special or time sensitive projects.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time while using the computer and phone extensively.
Position located on-site in the Melbourne, Florida office.

Pay Details: $19.00 per week
