As an Avionics Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for basic installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals.

Must-haves:
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to understand applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings
Basic skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installation
Experience with soldering and crimping techniques
Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations
Ability to speak, read and write in English
Basic understanding of applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
US Citizen
Valid Driver's License
Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 or 90/45 rotation
An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL
Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscillioscope, and/or pitot statis equipment.
Able to travel on a regular basis and/or work different shifts including overtime and weekends
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
Previous OCONUS deployment experience in remote locations
