What You'll Do
As an Electrician, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various electrical systems, ensuring the facility operates at peak efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining and repairing lighting systems throughout the facility and grounds.
Conducting maintenance on emergency lighting, generators, and UPS systems.
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, telephone systems, and computer cabling.
Assisting with life safety and electronic security systems.
Coordinating with contractors for specialized system repairs.
Responding to emergency repair calls and ensuring all work orders are completed promptly and professionally.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone with:
A high school diploma (or equivalent).
3+ years of experience in constructing or repairing secondary electrical systems (licensing preferred).
Strong technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and read blueprints/schematics.
A commitment to safety and a willingness to work in varied environments, including hazardous conditions and outdoor settings.
