Job Responsibilities:
To serve as APS Branch contract support analyst responsible for supporting the Operational Project (OPROJ) Program.
Conduct sustainment analysis on new and emerging OPROJ candidates, OPROJ technical reviews and reconciliations, and OPROJ project code management.
Facilitate receipt and sustainment of OPROJ's at APS sites.
Synchronize AMC Major Subordinate Command and agency efforts aimed at ensuring operations projects are sustainable upon receipt into the APS program.
Staff execution instructions and operational project implementation for new and revised OPROJ.
Analyze APS logistic policy pertaining to management of OPROJ and provide input and recommendations for improved policies and regulations with goal of improved readiness and availability of APS equipment.
Job Functions:
Conduct OPROJ sustainability analysis and make recommendations on new and emerging OPROJ candidates.
Support OPROJ government lead on APS-1 Integration.
Manage technical review process for OPROJ equipment valued at more than $5B.
Provide management oversight over 117 operational projects. Responsible for tracking the sourcing and fill for OPROJ requirements.
Integrate Non-Standard Equipment (NSE) into the OPROJ program.
Assist in developing operations orders involving OPROJ equipment.
Coordinate preparation, transportation and release of OPROJ equipment during current world events or exercise.
Manage requirements for equipment such as NSE, Bridges, Force Providers, LAMS. COTS, Mortuary Affairs, Aerial Delivery, Enemy POW, Containerized Systems, Water Supply Support, Special Operations, Rhino, IPDS, CP DEPMEDS, Clothing, RSOl Patriot, MRAP, and Aircraft Matting.
-Review Non-Standard Equipment (NSE) for candidate to be added to Operational Projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Adhere to the company's AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Education/Skills:
BS/BA degree with 12 years of experience, preferably as a senior Army logistician or multi-functional logistician.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to write, edit, and proofread a variety of presentations, position papers, and memoranda.
Strong interpersonal and questioning skills able to interact effectively with Senior Army Staff clients on a daily basis. Adaptable to various work styles, environments, and locations.
Must be self-directed, detail oriented, and resourceful in completing assigned tasks and projects within established time frames.
Proficient with MS Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Position requires that the applicant possess and maintain a current DoD Secret or above Security Clearance. (Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.)
