Adecco is hiring immediately for Warehouse Associates at a local client in Birmingham, AL. Warehouse Associates do essential jobs with one of our premier clients, with starting pay at $15.00-$16.00/hr., plus available overtime. As a Warehouse Associate, you will use RF scanners for shipping and receiving, match purchase orders to sales orders, distribute to sales associates, hand-pick orders, ensure on-time deliveries, validate load data for accounting, monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, and transport products in the warehouse.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
This position is entry-level, no experience needed
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Dock or warehouse experience in transportation
Loading and unloading trailer experience
Proficiency with handheld scanners
Ability to apply critical thinking to follow instructions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
