Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Cybersecurity Systems Engineer that has the desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions in support of cyber and space related projects. Join us and collaborate with a team of cybersecurity professionals. Your efforts will guide the protection of key government systems while decreasing technical debt and additional resources normally needed for manual processes. Our Cybersecurity and Software Development professionals exhibit exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills and Parsons offers a versatile and enthusiastic team-oriented environment.
Remote Hybrid Opportunity (2-3 days a week in office)
What You'll Be Doing:
Implement security measures including intrusion detection and prevention, software, and system security protection through application of secure design protocols and reverse engineering, and data assurance.
Maintain efficient resource planning, improve department standards and processes, and research cyber security solutions to support program objectives.
Interface with customers, managers, and other leads to gather requirements, recommend solutions, provide status, and manage issues/requests.
Develop and implement information security procedures, system security plans, and POA&Ms for the operation of networked and standalone classified computers systems, as well as coordinating government agency approvals/accreditations.
Review and contribute to Authority to Operate (ATO) and Certificate to Field (CtF) packages.
Consult on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified and CUI computing systems.
Identify security vulnerabilities and needed security protection measures.
Assess emerging threats and incorporates security review/response in requirements/design.
Design, develop, and implement leading-edge analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment for customer organizations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active TS/SCI clearance
5+ years of experience as a technical lead in DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
Experience in requirements development, requirements analysis, and requirements testing.
Software development experience.
Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) methods.
CISSP or equivalent IAM Level 3 certification (CISM, GSLC, CCISO).
Bachelors degree and 8+ years of related professional experience. An advanced degree may be preferred at this level.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience in systems architecture.
Experience with DoD System Security and Anti-Tamper (AT) engineering.
Experience with developing sensor trade studies.
Experience with developing network and rack diagrams in Visio

Salary Range:
$104,200.00 - $210,600.00
