Responsibilities The Post Holdings Cybersecurity team is seeking an enthusiastic undergraduate student to join us in a unique, year-round Cybersecurity Student Apprenticeship. This position offers year-round part-time work and can offer internship credit during the summer for those students seeking an internship opportunity. Our apprenticeship program is designed to offer students meaningful, hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Cybersecurity. We are looking for an avid learner eager to participate in various Cybersecurity initiatives and projects across the enterprise. The apprentice will regularly meet with mentors and leadership to discuss accomplishments and key takeaways, ensuring a rich learning experience. This entry-level position aims to build a solid foundation for students seeking post-graduation opportunities. Primary responsibilities include conducting day-to-day security and third-party risk monitoring, while providing ongoing support to the Cybersecurity team. The role is highly flexible, allowing students to balance their academic and professional development effectively. By performing the listed responsibilities, a TPRM apprentice gains valuable experience in risk management, compliance, and vendor management, laying the foundation for a career in TPRM. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES Assist in tracking third-party vendors' performance and compliance, focusing on cybersecurity and privacy Collect vendor information, summarize into risk reports, and update dashboards Enter and query n the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) system to maintain accuracy and support daily operations Review vendor compliance documents and certifications to ensure regulatory and contractual requirements are met Serve as point of contact for vendors, addressing queries related to risk assessments and compliance Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate risk management activities Learn to identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support the implementation of these actions Prepare documentation for internal and external audits Contribute to the development and review of TPRM policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards Participate in risk management training sessions and help develop training materials for internal stakeholders Provide input for continuous improvement of TPRM processes and tools Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in third-party risk management ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Incident Response Support: Assist in responding to third-party related incidents and breaches Help document incidents and actions taken Collaboration and Team Support: Collaborate with team members on various TPRM projects and initiatives Provide general administrative support to the TPRM team as needed Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited university Prefer pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field Have basic technology knowledge including cyber security concepts, computer systems and networking Must be experienced in using Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Must display a professional appearance and attitude Excellent oral and written communications skills
