Patriot Group International Inc. (PGI) is looking to hire a Regional Training Director to join our team in the Columbus, OH area, where we provide data center security solutions that protect client applications and data from increasingly sophisticated threats and global attacks. This position reports to the PGI Cluster Account Manager (CAM)
The Regional Training Director will be responsible for the following:
- Design, administer, and conduct all scope, schedule and cost aspects of special programs training including initial, sustainment, advanced, and scenario-based training activities.
- Maintain strict compliance with all training related aspects of PGI’s regional contracts including training design, delivery, reporting, and quality assurance.
- Manage a training quality control program to ensure continuous process improvement of the program of instruction, delivery of training, and customer relationship.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, mentor, and advisor for all PGI personnel at customer sites.
- Manage and maintain positive working relationships with PGI’s commercial and government customers, vendors, subcontractors, students, and employees.
- Maintain and update the program of instruction.
- Track, maintain and update training records.
- Perform as a mission-focused member of a cohesive program management team.
- Other duties as required or delegated by the CAM.
Required Qualifications:
- Commitment to the mission, PGI core values and ethos.
- Minimum of 15 years of special operations, intelligence, and security experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of training leadership experience including programs of instruction focused on security, intelligence tradecraft, firearms, techniques of observation, counterintelligence, and technical surveillance.
- Minimum of 5 years of exercise design, execution, and evaluation experience.
- Comprehensive understanding and demonstrated superior capabilities in all aspects of high-threat protective operations including but not limited to protective operations tactics, tactical combat casualty care, communications procedures and equipment, airborne and ground operations, liaison with adjacent and supporting units, advanced driving, advanced firearms.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to travel domestically to customer or PGI locations as needed.
- Ability to complete PGI application process, fingerprints, and background investigation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and periodic random drug screening throughout the duration of employment.
- Licensed Ohio firearms instructor.
- U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
- Service as a battalion (or equivalent) level training chief.
- TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to bend at the waist, knees, and waist.
- Must have the physical ability to perform a variety of training functions.
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, walking long distances on a training facility, and operate equipment.
- Must be able to perform all job-related tasks in adverse weather conditions including firearms range and tactical training facility set up and tear down.
