CACI has openings for MID level Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI) Analysts at the Army's National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) in Charlottesville, VA.
Your position on this team focuses on associating identities and entities to improvised threats. The associations are derived from forensic analysis from recovered Captured Enemy Material (CEM), which are processed at forward deployed and stateside labs.
Your analysis affords methods to identify and determine signatures for each entity/identity based on the type of event and fabrication methods, as well as the type of components the builder used. Once an identity is determined, you will provide targeting information to units within the area of interests.
Understanding component functionality and circuitry is vital due to a working relationship with forward labs in various theatres of operation.
Live Outside the NoVA/DC Beltway in Central Virginia!!!
Qualified candidates will be responsible for conducting technical intelligence analysis and exploitation of IED and other improvised weapon system incidents to determine technical profiles, fusing the intelligence with other forensic data and all-source intelligence data to provide attribution of individuals and groups to devices and events. Through the links discovered, analysts identify insurgent and IED networks, which include leaders, facilitators, financiers, cell members and bomb makers to identify potential targets for possible lethal and non-lethal action.
This is an excellent opportunity to support, and deploy to, exploitation labs and other expeditionary facilities across the globe.
