Lockheed Martin's SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking a Facilities Operations Specialist to join the SOF GLSS team in Fayetteville, NC. The candidate will perform classified duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Facilities Operations Specialist your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Duties include:
Servicing equipment sets on the job site
Ordering materials, tools, and instruments
Preparing reports and maintaining records on equipment and preventive maintenance
Completing required paperwork timely and accurately
Troubleshooting equipment failures both in service center and on customer locations
Practicing and promoting safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, and other required regulations
Maintaining shelter and associated equipment that is supporting a unique operation
Performing work in confined spaces and climbing ladders to perform duties related to work assignments
Operating a forklift and aerial lift in an efficient manner
Reading diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacture's specifications and comprehend information to accomplish assigned tasks
Willing to work with all types of equipment
Willing to train personnel in group setting.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver's license
Work well with public as well as with co-workers and willing to listen to others
Be knowledgeable in used in maintaining of equipment.
Must be punctual and follow rules
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with no or minimum guidance
Better than average written and verbal communication skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
