Overview
Our National Security Program has an immediate opportunity for a Russian Language Analyst with a background in the analysis of adversarial naval forces within the US European Command (USEUCOM).
The Russian Language Analyst will work with a of team of analysts, linguists, and collectors analyzing high priority, time sensitive materials to produce intelligence and develop highly sensitive analytic products in support of U.S. Navy and U.S. European Command maritime requirements. orces within the US European Command (USEUCOM).
Responsibilities
Perform research by applying Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) tradecraft and using managed attribution (MA) systems/tools.
Perform collection of identified target accounts using specialized collection tools.
Perform translations of collected material.
Perform triage of information and initial analysis to support Military Forces Analysts and Network/Targeting Analysts assigned to the team.
Support the development of new collection capabilities and analytical projects.
Attend and facilitate meetings (including classified), prepare agendas, track action items, and distribute minutes.
Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in National Security, Regional Studies, or relevant technical academic (desired) OR
High School Degree with 10-years of experience in a similar position.
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in the intelligence field with the military or Intelligence Community agency.
Minimum Language Proficiency of 2/2 DLPT (or ILR equivalent) in Russian certified within the last 3 years is required.
Minimum Language Proficiency of 3/3 DLPT using the ILR scale in English certified within the last 3 years is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in effective communications (writing, speaking, briefing).
Highly Desired Experience:
Language Proficiency of 3/3 DLPT (or ILR equivalent) in Russian.
8 years' of experience working in the intelligence field with the military or Intelligence Community agency.
Language Proficiency of 4/4 DLPT using the ILR scale in English certified within the last 3 years is required.
Knowledge or experience in performing intelligence analysis.
Experience from position that provided expertise in naval terminology.

Skills & Technology Used:
Familiarity with classified resources for all source intelligence research (organizational reporting webpages, reporting repositories, common operating picture software programs, network or link analysis software programs).
