Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conducts and manages complex research on various intelligence issues. Organizes and analyzes information, identifies significant factors, gathers pertinent data, and develops solutions.
Utilizes unclassified, secret and top secret intelligence sources, databases, and systems to research intelligence information. Develops rapid responses to inquiries using classified and CBP law enforcement data systems.
Develops graphics and reports based on the analysis and interpretation of program statistics and capabilities.
Conducts intelligence production process improvement analyses to support the development of concepts of operation, standard operating procedures for Tasking, Collection, Production, Exploitation, and Dissemination of intelligence products, and daily CBP intelligence needs.
Coordinates with consumers to ensure that CBP intelligence products. Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree and 3 years' of experience or 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree,
This position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, the ability to plan and organize work, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the following is required: intelligence lifecycle, intelligence product generation, and application of analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature.
Apply your knowledge of intelligence subject matter and the Intelligence Cycle to develop written or oral written products for stakeholders.
Ability to evaluate current events, understand how they relate to CBP equities, and if necessary, present the information in oral and/or written form.
Knowledge of the functions and operations of other intelligence organizations, to understand how those capabilities can support mission essential tasks.
Detailed skill and ability to present and argue effectively for a position.
Knowledge and ability to grasp conceptual ideas and exercise original thought where there is little time for deliberation and consultation.
Knowledge to evaluate the importance of international situations and problems, how they affect CBP equities.
Requires a detail-oriented self-starter experienced in supporting senior Government leaders and other technical/business professionals.
May be required to work shift work during abnormal or non-traditional hours, to include nights, weekends, and holidays; reporting to work or remaining at work to continue agency operations during an emergency, dismissal of non-essential employees or a general government or CBP specific closure of the Government; and are subject to 24-hour on-call status in the event of an emergency. Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of CBP, DHS and IC databases and tools to gather, review and collate all-source message traffic and other communications.
Knowledge of the interplay of geographical, political, military, economic and industrial forces and how they can affect CBP equities.
Knowledge to evaluate the importance of international situations and problems, how they affect CBP equities. Clearance requirements:
A current TS/SCI clearance is required. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.
