CACI is looking for a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to analyze regulations, develop actionable policies, and review technical requests and system architectures for compliance onsite at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
Required Qualifications
A BS in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science or related field
A CompTIA Security+ (CISSP preferred)
5-10 years of technical experience with at least 5 years of focused cybersecurity experience
Advanced technical understanding of cryptographic systems
Advanced technical understanding of computer networking
Familiarity with serial communication
Deep familiarity with and experience implementing industry standards such as those provided by NIST, CNSS, etc.
Experience implementing industry standards and auditing implementations against regulatory requirements
Experience communicating complex ideas and arguments in writing (papers and email) and verbally
Experience with DoD cybersecurity practices and policies
The ability to work independently and without direct support
Clear communication skills to justify recommendations and align with organizational needs.
Desired Qualifications
Small team technical leadership experience
Experience and knowledge of RF communications and RF theory
Experience with unmanned aircraft systems
Experience with embedded systems
Experience with Android at a technical level
Experience with sensors and sensor packages (EM, LiDAR, EO/IR, etc.)
Experience operating in an advisory capacity on technical concepts
Experience with red team activities (penetration testing, threat hunting, etc.)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300 - 189,600 USD
