The Sr. Solution Architect produces architecture blueprints and roadmaps to enable business outcomes for specific problems of high priority and complexity within assigned business organizations. The Solution Architect ensures solutions align to Enterprise Architecture strategies, principles, policies, standards, patterns, and guidelines across business, data, applications, and infrastructure architecture layers. He/she collaborates with business area leadership, architects, and SMEs within the assigned business organizations, as well as IT leadership, and the respective PMO to build support. He/she also acts as a consultant on a wide array of business, information, and technical solutions to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Run compliance assessments to determine alignment with Architecture (EA and SA) strategies and standards.
Present architecture recommendations, compliance reports, and suggested mitigation plans to the Architecture Review Board (ARB).
Contribute to development of standards & guidelines associated with the supported business organizations.
Stay current with business strategies and applicable technologies to inform solutions.
Maintain architecture artifacts in EA repositories.
Lead selection of solution building blocks, often through Analysis of Alternatives.
Conduct proof-of-concepts as needed to validate recommendations and learn potential solutions.
Must-haves:
Advanced experience with implementing solution architectures aligned to reference architectures for technology adoption and implementation (i.e. cloud migration, infrastructure / application modernization, ERP integration, etc.)
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science or a related field of study and 10 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Deploying and operating IT infrastructure,Azure, and/or AWS services
Experience in public, private internal, hybrid, and/or multi-cloud environments
Familiar with service designing and pricing of cloud-based solutions
Automation, orchestration, and/or DevOps experience
Creating architecture models, designs, standards, and monitoring and identifying leading technology trends.
Strong Analytical Skills
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and develop abstract representations
Excellent interpersonal skills, highly professional, diplomatic, demonstrated executive-level presence, outstanding stewardship, and relationship building skills.
Strong working knowledge of LAN, WAN, and SDWAN concepts, architectures and configurations
Track record for remaining unbiased toward any specific technology or vendor; and being more interested in results than personal preferences
Preferred:
Cloud Solutions Architect Professional level certifications in AWS and/or Azuree
Experience with AWS and/or Azure GovCloud and CMMC compliance
Familiarity with Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
Architecting enterprise systems such as PLM, MES, CRM, and ERP
Designing, developing, and integrating applications
Understanding data, information, and content
