The SailPoint Engineer will be responsible for implementing identity and access management solutions using SailPoint's IdentityIQ platform.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, and configuring SailPoint solutions, and ensuring the seamless integration of the platform with existing systems and applications.
The SailPoint Developer plays a critical role in application onboarding, enhancing security measures, managing user access, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. Translate detailed design into application systems. Test, debug, and refine applications to produce the required product. Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhance applications to improve performance and add functionality. Provide technical direction to engineers to ensure program deadlines are met.
Performs the modeling of applications throughout the development lifecycle. Develops design for development within specific application software language. Possesses knowledge of application modeling principles, concepts and techniques. Interprets requirements, performs highly complex analyses, and defines options to obtain desired results. Guides development into a final product.
Strong experience in enhancing solutions
Two project lifecycle experience
Strong experience in developing reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms
Extensive experience is debugging and troubleshooting programs
Extensive experience in implementing interfaces
Role includes the following: Integration and API Development:
Develop/Test custom integrations with various applications, directories, and systems using APIs and connectors provided by SailPoint.
Ensure data synchronization and establish seamless communication between different platforms. Security and Compliance:
Ensure the IAM solutions adhere to security best practices and comply with relevant regulatory standards.
Implement access control policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and other security measures to protect sensitive data.
Build/Maintain workflows and automation in the Identity governance application.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configurations, and integration details.
Prepare reports on system performance, access governance, and compliance-related metrics. Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and compliance, to ensure alignment with organizational policies and standards.
Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of IAM projects.
Required Qualifications:
Clearance: ACTIVE Secret
Security +, CISSP, or equivalent (Must meet IT II Requirements)
4 Year Degree Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience
Experience designing, developing, and advising on zero trust ICAM enterprise architectures
At least 6+ years of experience designing and implementing IAM solutions
At least 5 years of experience implementing enterprise identity governance & administration (IGA) solutions, such as:
SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ)
IdentityNow
Saviynt Security Manager (SSM)
Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) IBM Security Verify Governance
