As a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst Level 3 (Principal) in Redondo Beach, CA you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
(This position is contingent upon program award anticipated in the first quarter of 2025).
The Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst will report to the Business Management Scheduling Manager with roles and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Preparing, developing and coordinating the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives
Ensuring program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated
Implementing scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to: DCMA 14-point, IPMR DI-MGMT-81861, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA), Schedule Performance, Health Metrics and Analysis
Provides weekly and monthly status and reporting
Tracking plans and schedules
Creating, maintaining and validating Schedule data
Performing risk analysis and management
Identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts
Utilizing Gantt, milestone charts, Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances

Basic Qualifications (Level 3):
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of stated professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of stated professional experience - OR - 4 additional years of stated professional experience in lieu of degree
Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) software such as (i.e., MS Project, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone Professional, Deltek and SSI Tools)
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance at time of application
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in MS Project 2016
Experience with resource loading Schedules
Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience and Schedule Management
Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) Clearance
Active Department of Defense Special Compartmented Information Access (SCI)
About Payload & Ground Systems: Payload & Ground Systems provides small-medium satellites for commercial/government use, leading in-space servicing & logistics. Supports 4 satellite orbits, plus national & space security systems.
About Business Management: Integrates sector financial/business strategies, overseeing accounting, contracts, pricing, compliance, and asset management.
Salary Range: $100,300 - $150,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
