Office Team Lead, SME
Overview
KBR is seeking a talented, self-driven individual for a position as a member of the PEO's Action Group for the Space Sensing Directorate. The candidate will be responsible for performing the duties identified below and other duties as required.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the duties of a "C-Suite level" office lead reporting to senior Space Force personnel.
Ensures senior Space Force leadership is prepared and poised to communicate and take organizational and acquisition actions that advance mission delivery
Drafts reports/papers, briefings, and executive correspondence; tracks taskers in TMT; develops/edits electronic Staff Summary Sheets (eSSS); assists in Government travel arrangements when necessary
Coordinates activities and deliverables with the organization's executive officer; supports visits and meetings with senior Space Force leadership, senior government officials, senior defense support contractors, and community leaders from an admin perspective as required.
Provides strategic communications analysis, communications management plan inputs, and insights on various SSC instructions, guides, and processes as requested by the Government
Participates as a Government advisor on source selections when requested by the Government
Provides acquisition strategy, program planning, plus acquisition knowledge management and reporting as required by the Government
Skills Required
Fifteen (15) years of space experience to include a minimum of 4 years working in a space program environment.
Proficient in the use of M/S office applications, i.e., M/S Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom.gov, Task Management Tool (TMT), Defense Travel System (DTS), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus quantitative analytical skills, are required
Candidate must be able to work in a team environment
Candidate must have familiarity with DoD acquisition policies and processes
Active Secret security clearance required
US Citizenship required
Skills Desired:
Program management experience, strategic planning experience, or senior-level government office experience working in a "CAG"-like environment is desirable
Education
Master's degree required
Salary Range 175 - 225K
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
