This opening is one of several for a large and dynamic program developing electronic attack and mission capabilities for the Compass Call EW aircraft fleet in Hudson, NH. The software team operates in a highly collaborative environment with mentorship readily available and ample opportunity to learn and grow. All phases of software development are underway in different technical areas, offering a variety of challenging work. This program is funded, in a growth phase and expected to continue for years to come.

We are seeking talented Software Engineers, with 2 years of experience, to become a part of our large, growing team working on an open-system hardware and software capability for Compass Call. In this critical role, you will work across multiple disciplines and collaborate with Systems, Hardware, and Test Engineers to impact all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.

Job responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and code (typically in C ) complex software designs for simple systems or subsystems or subsystems of larger systems.
Evaluate complex software designs to identify design flaws.
Prepare design and test documentation, in accordance with established processes.
Utilize a Linux based software development environment.
Learn from some of the best engineers in the Electronic Warfare community.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and minimum of 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Background in embedded and/or application software development in C
Software development experience in a Linux environment
Software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools
Software testing, validation, and verification activities
Strong problem-solving and collaborative stills that translate to working software
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Active CompTIA Security Certification
Agile development experience
Real-time embedded programming
Git, Jira, Confluence, ClearCase, Bit Bucket
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
