Junior Project Coordinator

Parsons is seeking a talented Junior Project Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you'll support the coordination and successful completion of infrastructure projects by managing documentation, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects stay on track.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Junior Project Coordination: Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from initial planning to completion.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects are aligned and progress smoothly.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Budget Management: Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates and stakeholder inquiries.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in infrastructure project coordination or management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
- Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
