Position Information:
The Project Manager will help support upper management in running a federal government program. The PM will be client-facing, coordinating the work of the project team members and be a critical part of our delivery team.
The successful candidate will act as a broker between the technical teams and the client. The ideal candidate will be working with senior-level management on program support, requirements gathering, technical writing, and project scheduling.
This is a Hybrid position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a master schedule, performing schedule analysis, monitoring project progress against cost and schedule and resolving variances, validating completion of scheduled project activities and milestones, providing updates to customers and Program management.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, documentation, and quality assurance
- Allocates resources and sets schedules to accomplish project objectives including the quality, timelessness, and costs
- Build strong relationships with customers, clients, vendors, and employees. Be the "go to" person for all project related matters.
- Ensure that contractual obligations are being meet and overall project performance is in excellent standing
- Creating and briefing presentations, reports, metrics to customers and Program leadership.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish and implement project management processes
- Follows, develops and measures key performance indicators (KPI).
- Implements associated risk mitigation strategies.
- Participates in project reviews and readjusts resources and schedules to accomplish project objectives
- Interface with your Team Leads, SMEs, and senior Government personnel to resolve project and technical issues
Qualifications:
- At least seven years of federal program/project management experience.
- Experience with IT modernization and transformation efforts, cloud migration, change management
- Experience with government project/program management practices
- Very strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities by levels of importance and suspense dates.
- Ability to qualify and mature technologies given internal and external requirements
- Demonstrated success in working with diverse teams of engineers, developers, analysts, and business development professionals.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
- Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
- Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
- Ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce

- This position supports a federal government agency that requires a Background Investigation. The candidate must be able to clear a Public Trust clearance as well in order to commence work.
