Job Description:
Work as part of a team in a design and development shop to produce a wide variety of products, including PCB designs and other electrical components and systems. Formulate innovative solutions to problems-- then design, build, and integrate them. Good troubleshooting skills and flexibility required in support of R&D efforts. Eager to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment.
Required:
- Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar for integration purposes
- Experience working with and design of PCBs for power and/or communications
- Excels in component level test and troubleshooting
Desired:
- Experience working with SOM microcontrollers such as ARM, OMAP, Nvidia Orin
- Familiar with any/all of: CameraLink, A-PNT, FTDI, RS-232/422/485, USB, FPGA, etc.
- Familiar with : KiCAD, CADENCE Allegro OrCAD PCB Design Professional, or FAB3000 V7
- Comfortable working on multiple projects at one time
- Comfortable changing skill sets at a moment’s notice
- Comfortable turning high-level requirements into functional solutions
